Gillespie & McLean Electrical were recently tasked with carrying out a complete electrical and fire alarm installation at a Dental Practice in Christchurch. At approximately 450 miles from our Glasgow Office, we set up camp for the duration of the project. This was completed on schedule and within the 8-week time frame.

Due to the architecture of the building itself, this project was one of the more unusual Dental Practices we have fitted out over the years.

With numerous Dental Practices under our belt, we were aware of the need for more water and electricity, in addition to extra waste disposal and also increased precautions than the average install.

This project included installing LED lighting, external lighting, general power, dado trunking, dedicated consumer units and circuits for medical fridges and dental equipment, single and three-phase distribution boards. We also installed a fire alarm system that included heat & smoke detectors, alarm sounders, a fire alarm panel that sections the building into zones to indicate where the alarm was triggered.
